The Training

In no other system imparting training as self-defense or martial arts is seen a similar combination of exercises as in Kalaripayattu and it is this system of scientifically arranged and well-graded series of exercises for achieving maximum physical agility that makes Kalaripayattu unique.
Boys and girls can start their training at the age of 7 or above. We conduct classes for traditional and scientific Kalaripayattu, Massage and Marma treatment. Regular class timing is 5.30 A.M. to 9 A.M. and 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. A dedicated student can master all these techniques in one and a half-years' rigorous training. We do all the necessary assistance for mastering this great art. Special short-term classes can also be arranged. This short-term class is of 15 to 45 days duration and the student can continue the rest of the study at a period convenient for him then or later.
